Eurotel Brings A Universal Solution for SMS Messaging from Corporate Applications
A new service, Eurotel SMS Connector, speeds up and improves communication inside a company and with its business partners and clients.
Prague, 21 June 2004 - So far, SMS messaging was about private communication between individuals. Eurotel Praha is now introducing a new solution in the area of text messages for corporate customers. Eurotel SMS Connector helps to promote SMS messages as a modern tool of direct communication with customers, business partners and for internal communication with employees.
Eurotel SMS Connector is a simple and cost-effective way of expedient sending and receiving of SMS from corporate applications. Interface to corporate e-mail systems, calendar and address book allows for automation of information exchange, for instance, the user will receive reminders of meetings and incoming e-mail alerts. Thanks to its variety, Eurotel SMS Connector is suitable both for smaller and large enterprises.
SMS messaging is one of effective and interactive instruments of direct communication. It has a wide application in business communication - offering products and services, order processing, customer service support and loyalty programs, and, last but not least, promotions and market research - activities which require a feedback in the form of a reply (e.g. voting or sending of codes to enter consumer competitions).

"Our clients now have the opportunity to try out the benefits of Eurotel SMS Connector. We let them send up to 500 SMS messages for CZK 1 to mobile telephones in the Eurotel network."
The customer has a choice of 3 tariffs - depending on how many SMS the company sends on average. For example, a tariff Eurotel SMS Connector I with a flat monthly fee of CZK 350 (all prices are listed exclusive of VAT) gives the customer 300 SMS free of charge. Every other SMS message to the Eurotel network is charged at CZK 1. With the higher-end tariff, one SMS message costs can be even lower - CZK 0.60.
The customer can use Eurotel SMS Connector via his own program for SMS messaging, or via two applications which Eurotel gives free of charge with Eurotel SMS Connector. SMS messages are sent by means of a secure protocol in the Eurotel network.
Eurotel SMS MobilChange
New users of Eurotel SMS Connector are those for which another new application, Eurotel SMS MobilChange for sending and receiving SMS directly from the corporate e-mail program - Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes and others, was designed. It is a simple SMS access to information in the corporate e-mail box, calendar or address book, anytime and anywhere, and all you need is just a mobile telephone.
The licence to this application is given by Eurotel free of charge to its customers, provided they commit to using Eurotel SMS Connector for a period of at least 6 months. Eurotel SMS Manager
Eurotel SMS Manažer is yet another utility for working with Eurotel SMS Connector. This application allows the customer to conveniently send and receive SMS messages from his PC. Moreover, the application offers a comfortable way of short text messages on a PC, sending and receiving of volumes of SMS (including SMS longer than 160 characters). Eurotel SMS Manažer also allows for setting of criteria for SMS processing (e.g. categorising SMS replies into pre-defined directories, setting of an automated reply to SMS replies, automatic thank-you replies to SMS)
In conjunction with other two new applications, Eurotel SMS Connector represents an efficient instrument which will help companies to use SMS messages to further advance their business and make their communication with customers and partners more effective.
